Competitions

Our four teams (Color Guard, Armed Drill Team, Unarmed Drill Team, Marksmanship) compete annualy against the two other Army JROTC schools, Simon Sanches High School and Southern High School.

marksmanship team
Our Marksmanship Team's season starts early in the school year with their first competition usually in September or October. They compete in three competitions against the two other Army High schools to decide the top shooting members who will represent and compete in The National Air Rifle Competition held in California.
Color guard team
Our Color Guard Team performs at every school event by presenting the colors. They compete annualy during the MSUG Competition held on Guam against the other two Army JROTC Schools. Wining Sabre and Rifle Team travels to California and competes nationally.
armed drill team
Armed Drill Team performs during special occasions such as Japanese Exchange, Veterans Day, and other events which they are called upon. They compete annually at the MSUG Competition. Winning Armed Drill Team travels to California and competes nationally.
Unarmed drill team
Unarmed Drill Team performs, as well as Armed, during special occasions. They also compete annually during MSUG Competition. Winning Unarmed Drill Team travels to California and competes nationally.
